Data Core (Packet Core)

Job Purpose

Data Core network service planning, configuration scripts and method of procedure (MOP) for testing and integration of new services/features, change requests. P1 Data services incidents analysis and resolution. Data Core network Performance Audits, KPIs tracking and implement appropriate changes in order to support design criteria's.

Key Accountabilities

a. Creation and validation of MOPs for new services, features and change requests in the existing functionalities and support during the implementation for all new changes.

b. Create high level and low level designs and network design blueprints & Plan and deployment of Data core applications new software releases

c. P1 product related outages & configuration related issues analysis and resolution.

d. Network and service inventory management, Roadmap management Hardware, Software & Firmware releases , Assess and modernize the end of life/end of support network applications and nodes

e. Periodic application performance audit and measure performance and tune the parameters to support dimensioned capacity

Core Competencies

1. In depth knowledge and experience in Designing and implementation of Data core applications
2. In depth knowledge on Data core network interfaces and protocols & Knowledge on multiple vendor applications and their architectures
3. Stakeholder-management skills to interface with business and vendors on design and deliver business needs

d. experience in designing & MOP preparation, validation of Data core network applications

Bachelor's degree in Electronics and Communications Engineering or relevant field
